Policies and FAQ's
The following is a brief description of how we like to work and what to expect from using our voice over service.
Under NO circumstances do we allow any kind of cloning, sampling
(or any variant of) of ANY of our voice over talent for ANY reason,
regardless of usage rights that are included in our services. Doing
so is a strict violation of our policies and will resut in quick
and agressive legal action.
We like to offer a voice over service that is easy to use, affordable
and of the highest quality. That being said, it needs to be a streamlined
operation. We only use voice talent that have a proven record of
knowing how to read a script correctly. When you use ProVoice.com
for your voice over and audio production needs, you will get a high
quality read, performed by skilled announcers using high quality
voice over equipment. That's what you can expect. Please don't expect
to be able to micro manage the voice over with certain inflection
instructions of every word, etc. If there are certain words on the
script you want read with more emphasis, please underline them in
the script. Once you choose the voice over talent and make payment,
the script will be sent to the talent to be recorded. You don't
need to wait days for the voice over, it should be done within 1/2
a business day for :30's and :60's (perhaps quicker). We have auditioned
hundreds of talents and have picked the best of the best that are
willing to work for the rates we are charging. Only having a dozen
or so 'very good for the money talent' is a win win for all involved.
The client gets a variety of talent to choose from, and the talent
isn't competing with 50+ other talent hoping to get one job a month.
If we make a mistake, we fix it fast and free. If you make a mistake
on the script, THERE WILL be revision costs. Do NOT expect free
revsions. If it's just a date change/simple line change, etc, you
won't have to pay full price again (unlike many other online voice
over services out there), but please double check your scripts for
errors before you send them. Revision costs start at $20 and up
from there depending on how much needs to be changed.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check the work and make sure we didn't misread anything. We do our best to proof voice overs before they go out, but mistakes do happen. If we make a mistake we fix it fast and free. But don't assume it's totally correct. Listen to the reads carefully before applying them to your production.
We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
We reserve the right to modify prices if jobs are used for bigger
market/national spots/informercials/etc. The posted rates are for
smaller campaings like local TV spots, explainer videos, phone messages,
etc. ProVoice and Talent has the right to negotiate rates if they
feel they are being taken advantage of at these rates.

Below are some frequently asked questions.
What other fees are involved?
Unlike other online voice talent companies, we don't charge for
basic editing and 'studio' or 'session' fees. The fee you pay is
for the voice over, studio time, editing, etc. Once the voice talent
sends us back the audio file, we take out the breaths, make sure
it's error free and within the time limit needed (seeing as the
script wasn't way too long to fit in the time needed). The only
additional fees are based on how much more production is wanted,
such as music and effects.
Do I get to hear the voice over before I pay for it?
The talent on our site we have hand selected and are as good as
their demos are....that we guarantee. Our biggest pet peeve is getting
a demo from a potential talent and thinking 'Wow, this is great!'
and then getting a voice over from them and thinking 'Is this the
Same Person?' The demos on our site were not created from demo creation
companies. These are real jobs that accurately represent the talents
abilities on reading a script and the quality of their sound. That
being said, we have to pay the announcer for their time so we can't
do free samples. Short answer: No.
What if I want music added to my voice over?
No problem. We can add music to your voice over for $15 per minute/per
file needing music. So if you just want to add music to a :30 commercial
voice over it's just $15 extra. If you have 3 phone messages and
you want each one to have music (and they are each :60 or less),
it'd be $45 to add music to all 3 messages. We will also supply
you with the 'dry' (non music) version if you choose the 'music'
option.
Can I choose the music?
Kind of. We have some of our music tracks (the most popular) HERE.
If you hear something you like, let me know the name of it and we
can use it in your production. If you are going to be more 'particular'
about what you want, I can direct you to a website or two where
you can (at your cost) buy a song and email it to us. We'd have
to charge $10 to mix it (instead of $15) that we normally charge.
Otherwise we'd use our judgment on the song to use.
What does 'Basic Editing Always Included' mean?
We won't send you 'raw' audio. This is where a lot of other audio
production companies get you with extra fees. "Oh, you want
it to actually be clean audio? That will cost extra.'. We don't
play that game. The voice over files will be clean and edited so
you can plop into your editor. You shouldn't have to do any kind
of clean up/editing work. That saves you time, and is something
that a lot of other voice over companies like to charge extra for.
